EARLY LEARNING

We understand just how important the decision is to select the right pre-kindergarten* program. Our mission is to be an extension of the Christian home in an effort to see each child develop in body, mind, and spirit. Flint Hills Christian School would be honored to have the opportunity to provide your child an emotionally, spiritually, and physically safe place to learn and grow.

Early childhood is a crucial stage of life in terms of a child’s physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. It is a time when children particularly need high quality personal care and learning experiences. We are dedicated to providing each child with early learning experiences to help them grow and lay the foundation for future school success by nurturing them and helping them love school. The students in our early education program learn and grow through a Biblically integrated, Christ-centered curriculum and nurturing environment. Smaller class sizes allow for individual attention to each student.

We believe in providing you with a lifetime investment in your child by developing strong academic and spiritual foundations. This begins in our pre-K program and kindergarten classes. Using XXX curriculum, your child will learn:

  • Phonics and reading
  • Writing skills
  • Daily Bible lessons
  • Art, Drama, and Music

*Students must be 4 or older before September 1st

ABOUT MRS. DUNN:

“I grew up in McPherson, KS, and relocated here with my husband and two children about eight years ago. What prepared me for my position as an early childhood educator is the experience I gained while working in four early childhood centers over the course of two years, as well as owning my own childcare center for three years. My professional experience includes providing case management to children at school as well as community-based mental health programs for 5 years.”

– Mrs. Lacey Dunn, FHCS teacher since 2015 | Bachelor of Science in Psychology | Master of Science in Art Therapy Counseling
