Athletics Update
This weekend, our high school teams competed in the Kansas Christian Basketball Association tournament in Salina. The girls began play against Arrows of Liberty Homeschool Alliance, winning 51-24. The Lady Warriors advanced to the semi-finals where they beat Reno County 39-29. The girls played in the championship on Saturday falling to a talented Smoky Valley Home Educators team.
The boys started out against Veritas Christian School and fell 51-40. They won their next game against Tyro Christian School 64-59 to advance to the consolation championship game where they lost to Arrows of Liberty Homeschool Alliance.
Junior Nevaeh Pearson and sophomore Cheyenne Crow were selected to the girls all-tournament first team and junior Chance Patterson was picked for the boys all-tournament second team.

During the weekend, Neveah Pearson reached 500 rebounds in her career. She currently averages 13.1 rebounds per game and has a total of 276 rebounds this season.
The Warriors finish their season this weekend in Wichita at the Kansas Approved Schools Championship. The girls will enter as the two seed and play on Thursday against Tyro Christian School then again on Friday against Heartland Christian School. The boys play on Friday against Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy and Midland Adventist Academy. The outcome of these games will determine when they play again on the final day, Saturday.
